Someone asked about hardships that the pendeogans go through.
Damien (Fighting)-
He was bullied as a kid and his addiction is not something he enjoys. It was kind of thrust upon him as a child. He is a very kind person and he doesn’t like to hurt people. He works as an elementary school teacher so he has to regularly step into the boxing ring so he doesn’t punt a third grader across the classroom. Not a lot of women understand the need for violence so after the “aww you teach little kids” stage he tells them about his addiction and mostly its just “so you have to beat the shit out of people every week, yea we are over”.
Alex (Sex)-
Aside from annoying the hell out of his roommates, he just gets a lot of ass! No, there are downsides. His parents weren’t super thrilled when they found out. Some of the people who are willing to have sex have diseases that sometimes they don’t know about and because he can smell them he ends up turning people away and usually being a mood killer when he lets them know why. Relationships are hard when the other person always suspects that you are using them for sex or doesn't like how much you’ve slept around. Self pleasure doesn’t fix the situation, it's more like only eating a candy bar for dinner, it takes the edge off but you are still hungry.
Alissa (Sugar)-
She was a late bloomer and finally figured out her addiction at nineteen. Aside from normal prejudice from humans, most of her pain comes from past trauma. Her mom was human and her father was a Pendeogan so she had the chance of never getting a addiction. Being bullied in school gave her self esteem issues so being a Pendeo with no addiction was another reason she “was a freak”. She stopped taking it out on herself and turned to her roommates trying to get them to quit their addictions because “if humans can quit smoking and drinking we can fight through our stuff too” She thinks that it would improve their lives but didn’t realize how hard it was until the guys noticed her sugar intake. They tried to put her on a diet and the rest is history.
Rosemarie “Romie” (Technology: Screens)-
Working as a Barista is hard because everything is so fast paced that she can’t look at her phone. Hanging out with friends is hard because she is always on her phone. She also gets judged because when she was searching for her addiction (better to know now than to have it sneak up on you) she thought it was body modification so she got a tattoo, piercings and bobbed her tail. She doesn’t regret the changes but she gets judged by her “punk” look and many Pendeo’s can not even fathom cutting off their tail.
Luna (Plant Life)- She works at a pet store and goes to high school so she is trapped in the concrete prisons for most of her days.
